Role: Aer Lingus Customer Service Agent (Fixed Term Contract)

Hourly: €16.95 per hour (Inclusive of 15% shift allowance)

Basic: €14.74 per hour + €2.21 per hour (15% shift allowance)

Applications are currently being invited for a number of Fixed Term Contracts in our Ground Operations Department based at Dublin Airport.

This is a customer facing uniformed role. We aim to provide the highest level of customer experience by providing the highest standard of customer care, from the time our customers book their flight to the end of their journey. We have fantastic opportunities for enthusiastic individuals who are interested in a role with a strong focus on customer service.

These roles are shift positions over a 7 day week including weekends and bank holidays. You may be required to work additional hours if the operation needs it. Full training will be provided.

Your role:

· To provide a welcome service to Customers at check-in and act as boarding agent at the departure gates

· Provide the highest standard of service to our customers in a fast-moving operational environment

· Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure a positive Customer experience.

· To problem solve issues or challenges that may arise which could impact on the Customer experience at Dublin Airport.

· Assist Customers during times of scheduled disruption/cancellations.

To be considered for the position of Customer Service Agent, candidates must meet the following:

· Experience in a customer service focused role

· Be at least 18 years of age at the closing date of this notice

· Fluent in English, both spoken and written

· Willing to work a range of shift duties in a 24 hour, 7 day a week operation.

· Be prepared to adhere to all Aer Lingus uniform and grooming standards – no visible tattoos or body piercings when in uniform

· Possession and demonstration of the key competencies outlined below

· Pass a 5-year security background check and Garda Vetting process

· Provide 2 verifiable references

· Eligible to live and work in the E.U.

· Current unrestricted worldwide passport

· Ability to deal with problems as they arise.

· A strong attendance and time-keeping record
